Worst event that i have ever conduct (IQWAN HAQEEEM BIN NORAZMAN 019149)
There worst event event that i ever conduct is a Futsal tournament organised by my friends and I. The story start with me and my friend decided to do a Futsal tournament so that we can get new friends from other school. The bad choices started when during the planning our dream was too big. Sometimes we need to know our places before making any decision right? We make an ads about our tournament and post it on the official MRSM instagram page. The post was saw by all MRSM student in Malaysia. The funny things is without any budget we even put high amounts of prize money on it. Although to enter this tournament, there is entrance fee but at that time we didn’t know it was not enough.
We just accept all the request and proceed with the plan. So my friend and I start our plan by starting with the most important which is find a futsal court and referee. After this 2 thing settled, we thought that was enough. The start of our holiday arrived, because the futsal court is quite far away from our house. We decided to rent an apartment, and share the fee with other friend who need a place to stay. After check in, we go to the futsal court and confirm our tournament to the owner.
The day of tournament, there was a lot of people! We were quite surprised by the number of people. The team who participate in this tournament start to line up for registration. My friends who organising the event only consist of 3 person so including me there was only 4 person. We didn’t plan on what time will the tournament start, we didn't plan who will be in charge of registration, control the player and we don't even have a medic! It was a mess but we gather our mind and overcome it. Luckily during the tournament there was no injuries.
The tournament end at night, we were so tired and all the entrance fee money is used for the prize money and the expenses of this event. We didn't even earn a single profit, but we know a-lot of new friends and this was a good experience for us. Since it was our first event, it was quite an experience but hey there’s always first time for everything right?
