[WORST EVENT ] THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED IN ALAM FIRDAUS IZZUDDIN 018938

  In spite of overwhelming, obviously we experienced a lot of best event in our life. But, sometimes the best can turn into worst. Here is my story of the best event that I had expected yet suddenly turn into the worst experienced I have gone through.

  The night before shore leave day, I plan with my cabin mates to went to Malacca town for relieve our stress after monthly exam. So, we planned to rent a car for the trip from ALAM to Malacca town or Dataran Pahlawan specifically. I thought that it was the best planned I had ever since. From car, budget, movies to watch in cinema, It was all perfect. We slept very well that night until the next morning.

  Around 9.00 am, my cabin mates and I were walking to the guards for the grab waiting. 20 minutes later, the grab car we ordered had arrived in front of ALAM. We continue our journey to the College University Melaka Islamic about 5 kilometres from our alma matter. It took about 10 minutes to arrived.

  When we arrived there, we were walking towards a small building in front of the college that have a sign ‘Kereta Sewa Hanif’ . Since I was in charge for the rental car, so I came into the office inside the building to settle the agreement. I paid the deposit which are RM50. Furthermore, the agreement had settled so we decide just to wait for the car to arrive. Before we came, there were another ALAM's cadet before us that had arrived to the place. So, we were talking to each other while waiting.

  First 25 minutes after we waited, a compact car driven by another renter was arrived to our place. As we waiting in turn, so another cadet that arrived before us picked the car first. Moreover, we keep waiting with patience while enjoying the chirping birds and nature. 

  About 45 minutes after the first car arrived, another car had also arrived. But, it was not our car because there were still have another cadet that reached before us. So, they have right to use the car first.

  My mates and I were playing mobile games together while waiting. After two defeat consecutive games, we felt something was wrong because we were there for 1 hour and 20 minutes after we firstly arrived. So, I pick myself up and went into the office to meet the man who was in charge for the rental car. We had a proper conversation and he saying that the car will arrived soon.

  Exhausted from sitting on the chair too long, I went for a walk to take a fresh air. Besides, there is a goose crop next to the office, we happily looking at the goose who enjoying eating and swimming without need to think and have a problem and burden respectively. 

  20 minutes had passed, we still managed to be in good form thinking that our car will be arrived sooner or later. I walked across the road and saw a man was fishing on the bridge. I decided to be friendly with him and get closed to. He was an old man who fishing using a bamboo stick not a fishing rod. Deeply in my mind ‘Wow, that's so impressive’. He had said that he did that is to eat them not to pet. Since I am the one who asking what he want to do with the fish, I laughed politely

    Without we noticed, the time had half past eleven. I truly felt angry deeply why our car is not arrived. So, we went met again the officer and asked him. Here quotes of every cloud has silver lining come true. Unexpectedly, he said that our car which should be here by now cant arrived in time. The reason is because the car was having a problem. We were feeling very sad. From a heart full of bouquets of rose turn into field of dry wheat. We don’t want to went back to college with an empty hand so I was asking to him is there another car for us to use and expectedly he said No. 

  We cant believed that we waited 2 hours for nothing. But, it is not a personnel problem so we accepted it with an open heart and saying to ourselves that it is not our luck. We searched for a grab but there was no driver around. Without thinking for long, we walked under the sun out from that place to the main road. We felt very messed up and walking silently with sighed due to sweat that keep flow down on our skin.

  About 15 minutes of being sunbathing, we reached to a resort. So, we planned to stop for a while to have a deep breath and need to change our clothes into smart casual. Then, we ordered a grab and just waiting for the driver to pick us up. We went back to ALAM with sad face and have a lunch at galley instead of having a nice meal at town. Instead of ‘ a bad beginning makes a good ending though’ , we experienced the phrase upside down.

Beloved cabin mates

  Let by gones be by gones. We can only plan but the God himself will decide to proceed our plan or not. So, it might be the worst experienced I have through with my friend in ALAM, but at least I can remember this memory until the end of the day.
