Worse event i have conducted-Hiking (Aaron Sanjeev Raj A/L Marutha Selvam ALAM018897)
Hiking is an
activity that many people enjoy, but it can also be a challenging and sometimes
even a dangerous one. My experience hiking at Bukit Panorama is a prime example
of this. Despite my excitement for the adventure, it turned out to be the worst
event I have conducted.
Bukit
Panorama is a popular hiking spot located in the outskirts of my city. It's
known for its stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, and it's a
great place to spend a day outdoors. My friends and I decided to go there one
weekend, eager to take on the challenge and enjoy the scenery.
However,
things did not go as planned. Our first mistake was not doing enough research
beforehand. We assumed that the hike would be an easy and straightforward one,
but it turned out to be a difficult and steep climb. The trail was narrow,
rocky, and uneven, making it difficult to maintain balance and footing. The
weather was also unforgiving, with the sun beating down on us and causing us to
sweat profusely.
As we
progressed, we realized that we had underestimated the hike's intensity. The
trail was much longer than we expected, and we were not adequately prepared for
the challenging terrain. We soon found ourselves struggling to keep up with the
rest of the group, and our bodies were starting to ache and tire.
To make
matters worse, we didn't bring enough water or food, and our supplies were
running low. We were also getting lost on the trail, and the trail markers were
unclear, leading to confusion and frustration. We were tired, hungry, and
thirsty, and our spirits were starting to dwindle.
As we
finally reached the summit, we were disappointed to find that the panoramic
view was obstructed by the thick fog. We couldn't see anything beyond a few
feet in front of us, and our hopes of enjoying the breathtaking scenery were
dashed. We took a few photos, and then quickly made our way back down the
trail, eager to return home.
In
conclusion, my experience hiking at Bukit Panorama was a painful one. It taught
me the importance of adequate preparation, research, and caution when
undertaking such activities. It also showed me that hiking can be a dangerous
activity, and that it's crucial to respect nature and be mindful of the risks
involved. Although the experience was challenging, it also taught me valuable
lessons that I will carry with me on future hikes.
