THE WORST EVENT THAT I HAVE EVER CONDUCTED (PRADEEP 018893)

 I just would like to share to you guys about what happened and what i did in the worst project that i have ever conducted. So, this is an incident that happened one month ago. My classmates and I were instructed to conduct a leadership and team building program as the requirement of our university in order to complete our third semester. My class decided to appoint me as the Project Manager for this program. Thus, I’m the one will be doing the proposal letter and also requesting the budget from the university in order to complete this program. 

As a responsible project manager, i was asking choices and opinions from my classmates about where are we going to do program and what kind of program we are going to do to boost our leadership and our teamwork. Then, my class leader, Anam suggested that there is a good place in Terengganu to conduct some of the exciting activities such as, water rafting, hiking, jungle trekking and more water activities which can make the bond between my class students even more stronger. So, the whole class accepted this suggestion and as the project manager, i started to do the proposal letter to the management of the university.

All went well, the class lecturer approved my letter, the Head of Department approved my letter and even the Head of the University accepted my approval letter. We got some budget from the university as our transportation fee and the other fees were paid by the students themselves. I collected around RM5000 from the students (33 people) for the accommodation and for their meal for 3 days and 2 night. 

So, everyone was excited about the trip and some of them started to pack their clothes. All went as planned until a day before the trip. Our lecturer called me and said, the trip is cancelled by the higher management of the university. I was speechless and i was thinking what can i do to make this trip happen as planned. 

The thing that made me choose this as my worst ever experience is a simple nonsense. One guy from the higher management of our university rejected is because the bus which we will be using for that trip does not has seat belt.
