MY WORST EVENT (CANTEEN DAY) MUHAMMAD KHAIRUL AQIF BIN MOHAMAD RAZIF ALAM 018930
As a primary school student, I was excited to participate in the annual canteen day event. This event was a highlight of the school year, where students would set up food stalls and games to raise funds for the school. However, my excitement quickly turned into regret as I made a mistake that ruined the day for myself and my classmates.
My class was responsible for setting up a popcorn stall. We had prepared the popcorn and decorated the stall with colorful balloons and streamers. As the day started, we were thrilled to see a long line of students waiting to buy our popcorn. However, in our eagerness to serve as many customers as possible, we started to rush and make mistakes.
I was in charge of scooping the popcorn into the bags, but I accidentally used a dirty scoop to serve a customer. The customer noticed the dirt and complained to the teacher in charge of the event. The teacher investigated and found out that we were using a dirty scoop. She scolded us in front of everyone and closed down our stall for the rest of the day.
My classmates were disappointed, and I felt embarrassed and ashamed. I had ruined the day for everyone. My mistake had cost us the opportunity to raise funds for the school and ruined our class's reputation. Reflecting on the event, I realized that I had learned an important lesson about responsibility and attention to detail. As a student, I had to take responsibility for my actions and make sure that I was doing my job correctly. I had also learned that it's better to take our time and do things right, rather than rush and make mistakes.
In conclusion, the worst event I had conducted during my primary school days was during the canteen day. My mistake of using a dirty scoop had resulted in the closure of our popcorn stall, ruining the day for everyone. However, this mistake had taught me an important lesson about responsibility and attention to detail. I learned to take my time and do things correctly, rather than rush and make mistakes that could have consequences.
