MY IDOL TONY FERNANDES(MUHAMMAD ILMAM AYZA BIN ABU YAZIZ)
In todays world there are a lot of powerful man,or women that becomes successful in what they are doing.They have a strong visions ahead of them and that is what making them become very successful.And because of this a lot of them is being idolized for the youngsters nowadays.Just like me i have my own idol that makes me becomes more visionised.My idol is not international,he is just a malaysian citizens and that makes me more confident about making him my idol because his citizenship is the same as me.
And with that,my idol is Tan Sri Anthony Francis "Tony" Fernandes.Maybe a lot have heard his name,he is the founder of Tune Air Sdn. Bhd., who introduced the first budget of no-frills airline, AirAsia, to Malaysians with the tagline "Now everyone can fly".Fernandes managed to turn AirAsia, a failing government-linked commercial airline, into a highly successful budget airline public-listed company.
A little bit biodata about him,he was born in 30 APRIL 1964 which make him 58 years old this year and his real name is Tony Francis Ferandes.His place of birth is at Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia.However,he was actually raised in Malacca.At a young age he would follow his mother selling tupperware at tuperware parties.
The reasons why i choose him as my idol because he is one of the most successful entrepreneur.Tony Fernandez is someone who is a brilliant men.He know how to make money and he never give up.As we can see now, his company is very successful and many people know him. He also have his own television reality show that name "The antiperspirant Asia". He is the owner of Air Asia and he make a low cost fare and he make a famous tagline "Now Everyone can fly".He have received a lot of awards such as:
International Herald Tribune Award for the "Visionaries & Leadership Series", for his outstanding work in AirAsia;
"Malaysian CEO of the Year 2003" in December 2003; so far awarded to only nine other recipients in the country, by American Express and Business Times. The award was an initiative to recognize entrepreneurial and managerial expertise and performance among leaders of Malaysian corporations.
Named the joint winner of the CEO of the Year 2003 award by American Express Corporate Services and Business Times.
