My Idol (Daneshan A/L Mansegar 019090)
Everyone
in the world have an idol in their life. Idol is someone that you admire so
much, maybe a singer, an actor, a football player, or a model. Same for me, if
talking about the person that admire so much, a lot of names run through my
mind like my mother, sister and some good friends. I even wanted to write about
Datuk Lee Chong Wei, the man who made my eyes pop out and he is one who
inspired me in badminton. But then, decided to write about a person whom
respect so much and who has influenced me a lot. I can proudly say that it is
my father who is my idol and been my source of inspiration from day I was born.
In other words, his perspective and personality together have shaped me as a
person. Similarly, he has a great impact on the world as well in his own little
ways. He devotes his free time in taking care of stray animals which inspires
me to do the same. My father has taught me the meaning of love in the form of a
rose he gifts to my mother daily without fall. This consistency and affection
encourage all of us to treat them the same way. All my knowledge of sports and
cars, also have derived from my father. From this, I am going to write about
his several personal characters which have made person that I admire.
Firstly, as everyone likes to believe that
their father is different, so do l. Nonetheless, this conviction is not merely
based on the love have for him, but also because of his personality. My father
is an Mechanical Engineer and have and such a wonderful character. Besides, he
is quite disciplined in all aspects of life. He is the one who taught me to
always practice discipline no matter what work do. My father is a great
personality himself. His approach towards life is totally different. He usually
will says to me and my siblings that we should give life our very best rather
than expecting the very best from life. Then only life will give us the best of
the best. He say this because he also from the middle class family which is
can’t afford most of the things in his
life.
Furthermore, my father is always kept a
very safe and open home environment. For instance, my siblings and can talk
about anything with him without the tear of being scolded or judged. This has
helped us not to lie, which have often noticed with my friends. Although, he is
very busy every day, but he will never stop thinking about us. We have problems
but we settle them in a family way as ‘ blood is thicker than water’. Hence, he
also always being careful so as to make sure all in the family would be happy
and living harmoniously.
I always stay with my father. Whenever I
have time, I go to work with him and see how he deals with people. It is always
a fruitful time spent with him. He has a cheerful and friendly nature inside
his soul. He always makes my mother laugh with his silly antics. I completely
adore this silly side of him when he is with his loved ones. He tries his best
to fulfil all our wishes but also maintains the strictness when the need
arises.I get to learn new things about life. I get to learn how to keep others
happy, and still take work from them in the best way possible.
My father says that appreciation is a
magic wand. You can just say a spell of appreciation and, you’ll see the person
you appreciated, doing magical things. Whenever I go with him to his office, I
see him greeting even the newest and the low positioned staff with a broad
smile. After my father goes pass them, I see their faces and they are filled
with happiness. It becomes the highlight of their day that, their boss gave
them a broad smile! This is how he wins hearts on his every step. He never
refuses to do even the slightest of things by himself. Though there are
servants in the house, he still switches off all the lights and fans by
himself. He says, ‘why should we miss out on the opportunity and nobleness of
saving electricity?!’
To sum it up, i admire a lot of people
but the person I admire the most is my father. This is Is because my father is
the one who knows what is best for me. He is the most important person in my
life. There is no reason for me to live without him by my side. He is the one
who helps me grow up, gives me advice, takes care of me, shows me the right
way, always support me greatly, and does many things just for me. I believe
that my father has it all what it takes to be called a real-life superhero. The
way he manages things professionally and personally leaves me mesmerized every
time. No matter how tough the times got, watched my father become tougher. I certainly
inspire to become like my father. My father always teaches me, how to have a
holistic approach to everything. He teaches me how I can apply the doctrines
taught to me by my religion in my day to day life. If my father is such a noble
and well-mannered person, then who can stop me from making him my idol?!
