My family and I visited the island of Langkawi during our holidays back in 2018. We spent four days and three nights there. My other relatives also joined us here in Langkawi for vacation. In the evening, we reached the island via ferry. We did not get to check into the hotel immediately so instead, we took a cable car to our first stop. We had to travel through three stops on the cable car to get to our destination. When we step foot into the cable car, it was extremely hardcore and definitely a once in a million opportunity as we rarely get to experience it. 

After taking the cable car, we returned to the hotel for a quick relaxation and to pray. We had a scrumptious dinner together that evening at Telaga Seafood Restaurant. This restaurant serves Malay, Arabian, and Western cuisine. We had the time of our lives there as we could devour food from different cultures. We also took the opportunity to window shop and stroll along the row of stores there after finishing our dinner. Numerous stores sell gifts that mainly targets tourists as they displays many eye-catching clothing, bags, and souvenirs. As it was only the first day, we only did a quick look over and decided to only come the next day to purchase some things.

We ate breakfast at the hotel on the second day before setting out to Langkawi Island. Fortunately, my sister had already made arrangements for our boat to circle Langkawi Island beforehand so we did not have to go through the hassle of planning in the last minute. The islands that are accessible from Langkawi Island include Gorilla Island and Lady Island, and numerous other islands. We went to "Dayang Bunting Island" in the evening, which in my opinion has to be the most stunning island on Langkawi with its clear blue water.

On the third day, my sister went before us and had already gone shopping to purchase some items. The cost of chocolate, clothing, and souvenirs are lower here as Langkawi Island enjoys a duty-free status. As for myself, I merely purchased some chocolate only for my pals and not for my own consumption as I am not really that big of a sweet tooth. There are countless affordable chocolate brands available for purchase, making it difficult for individuals who genuinely enjoy chocolate to choose which variety to purchase.

On the last day, before we went back home, we decided to have lunch at Langkawi Island as the food there is not available in our hometown. After all of us  were done with lunch, we rushed to the jetty as our tickets showed that we needed to be there at 3:30p.m sharp. Although my parents did not bring us to have our holidays in foreign countries around the world, but I really had the best time in Langkawi as it was really a sentimental holiday for our family. It is no doubt that any holiday regardless where it is spent, it would after all be significant if it is spent with your loved ones. I would trade anything if I could relive this short yet remarkably eventful holiday again.
